Sounds like a good deal I just paid $309 for a new one I would have bought a used one if I could have found one.

what color is it?

i just bought a new one for $300

they had a used one but it was the nickle slide one, and wanted $300 for it, so i opted for the new black one for the same price

general black goes for $230-270 used

other colors are $300-$350 used

It was black and $249.00 not $259.00 but it only has one mag.

Just a little high for a used one in my opinion.  Last year this was the new price and these were just on sale for $275 new.  I paid $329. for my fancy one, so in comparison it's not a bad price.

Well it looked real clean and in perfect condition, maybe that's why it only had one mag. I was also worried about some of the feeding problems that I read here.

the new mags.... A or B normaly don't have the feeding problems, and you can check it just by looing at the part number on the mag it will say A or B at the end of the number

I just purchased 2 P22's from Gander Mountain. I got them last month and they had been on sale for $249. Both of these came with 2 mags and were NEW pistols.

Yes, check the mags.  You want either "A" mags with the long slot or "B" mags.

Also, check the year on the gun by looking at the letters on the side.  "AI" = 2008, "AG" = 2007,  "AF" = 2006, etc.  I know that they worked out a lot of bugs from the early models, though I don't recall exactly when the "good" guns started coming out.  Offhand, I'd say that if it's earlier than AF then I'd seriously consider just buying a new one.
