Need some insight from you guys. Does this look like it is in decent shape?

I read the inspection guide in the sticky and this one looks like the rails are pretty worn, no?

Wear doesn't look to bad for my eyes.  What happened to the braided wire recoil spring?  If you don't know the round count, get a new recoil spring.

Edited to add-  my sigs like to be ran wet, very wet.

Hard to tell from your photos if it's wear or glare...also hard to tell if it's just the finish wearing down, or if there is actual steel missing.  I'd be most concerned with what looks like a round divot on the left rail by the sear, seen in the top photo.

But yes, it's certainly used.  Are you thinking of buying it?  I'm sure it has plenty of life left in it, but I would definitely seek a price in line with it's condition.

Rails don't look bad unless they are gouged. Keep it greased and pick up a $25 parts kit from top gun supply and you're all set. It comes with a new recoil spring as well as other springs.

So the shiny parts showing is of no concern? I read the inspection guide in the sticky. it says if it shows silver, it's a problem.

You can put 20K plus rounds through it. Silver means that the anodizing has worn through. Either a ton of rounds or not enough grease on it from the previous owner. Enjoy the gun, if you get to the point where the slide starts to rattle or it's gouging the frame then it's done. You can also send it off to be cerakoted, That would protect the frame. Just because it's silver doesn't mean it's toast!

To me the rails look fine, but I would loose that after market recoil spring and get a new factory one.,
