Picked up a Loaded Springfield this weekend (and I'm LOVING IT!), and I think I want to put VZs on it. Two questions. 1. Which S&A mag guide will fit with them better - the standard or the thin one? 2. What color looks better on black (I know this is personal preference, just want to see some opinions) - Green Canvas or Blasted Black Canvas? Pics would be great, too. |
| I just ordered the green canvas, Gator Back^2 for my kimber with SA magwell. I can't tell you how well they'll work because my order was just placed. I like the green on a blued gun. They are very accomodating. Give them a call and tell them what you want, and they'll tell you how to get it. |
Hey guys, I've got a few of the green-black linen full size magwell cuts left over from a custom order I ran a month or so ago. If you want them, email me since they are not on my website. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.
The Standard
Both greens look good. The Blk Grn Linen is a darker tactical green, almost pine green. The GRN Canvas is more the OD in color. Grn Blk Linen  Grn Canvas

I got them Tuesday. Today I got to use them. They are freakin' awsome. The feel of the micarta is like nothing else. And, they came with a relief for the MSH pin that doesn't fit flat on my gun that's only on the frame side, so it doesn't show. They are very nice and very well done. Highly recommended. |
