no kidding!

i didnt even notice those on the website.  I wonder how they would look on a stainless 1911?  I am even impressed by the pink grips.

i think the only solution is to get more 1911s so i can have one of each.

I bought a new set of VZs and don't even have a 1911 to use them on

ETA: I am now in the process of pricing out a new build

This is what they look on a stainless but in the Recon texture.

could you explain why? i bought a set of VZ double diamonds for my Commander and they are great.  But I found that in rain or really hot conditions, they are not grippy enough.

I carry my 1911s IWB, but I always wear a T-shirt between myself and the gun so I am not too concerned about the cheese grater effect.

More aggressive all the way around.  Operator 2s do look cool though.  Ive got a set of regular operators here and they are nowhere near grippy enough.  I don't have an issue controlling the gun either way though, so I guess it doesn't matter.

All the newer VZ G10 colors are awesome.

My guns are pretty basic though, so now I need a tricked out one to put some of the fancier VZs on

Here are the Operator II's on my go-to work gun. They are the desert color and go very nice with stainless. After a little sanding the grips are perfect. They were a bit to sharp on my little finger after 200 rounds. They work great in the rain and with Slip 2000 on your hands.

Aliens on my Caspian.  Has anyone added the thumb scoop to their grips?  Looks like a dremel with a sanding wheel would do it pretty easily.

If you plan of carrying this IWB don't get the gunner grips

Most agressive grip Ive ever encountered.

Operators. Wish I would have gotten the groove for the mag release, but not that big of a deal.  They are much nicer than the OE grips and I haven't had a problem with being too rough. Though, I typically don't shoot more than 300 rounds at a time.

I would like to say I've narrowed my choice to a few colors, but nope.

Had these on a Colt Commander
Cerakote gray and black accent parts on the Colt looked great with these
