Looking to pick up a Glock 19, the model in question has Glock night sights and 4 15rd mags plus a holster.

3rd gen, 200 rounds down the pipe, excellent cosmetic condition.

Guy wants $550 for the whole thing.

I'm thinking no more than $400 for the gun itself.  What would be a fair offer? Cash price, no transaction or shipping costs.

I personally would say anywhere from 450 to 500 if its almost new, if the guy is hesitant i would probably go 550 for the lot especially if it has night sights and 4 mags...  but thats just me

I offered $475, he wants $500.  I'm remaining firm at $475, i'm not in a hurry to buy.... I'd rather be patient and try and get a decent bargain.

You can get a brand new one for that price.  Unless he has a really nice holster that is too much.

I understand paying a little bit more since he has two extra (total of four) 15rd mags and the weapon has Glock nightsights.
Here's some pics:

The way i see it is its about 40 for 2 extra mags and around 85 for good night sights and 25 for the holster so i guess for me i take that into consideration but if your in no hurry i wouldn't go any higher. Where im at its a pain to find anything with a halfway decent price so i dont mind paying a bit more for something with decent accessories and in good condition.. but thats just me

Back in WA that would be a good deal.

I just bought a like new G19 with night sights and 3 mags for $500.  Glocks here without night sights are $489.00 plus tax.  So I felt like I got a fair deal. Seems like no one wants a fair deal anymore, instead they want to steal something.

A good negotiation is one where both parties are happy with the terms.

For the night sights and 2 extra mags, $500 is probably not too bad. It would sell for more than that in a gun shop around here. I wouldn't go higher though.

475 with nightsights and 4 mags is a good deal.
as long as you like the sights.

I paid $499 NIB with standard sights, and 2 mags for my G19.

$500 seems reasonable for a used glock 19 with 4 mags and night sights.  not a killer deal for either party.

Too late, but how old are the sights?

Hopefully you can get a truthful answer to that because that affects the value of the gun.  If the sights are fairly new (less than 1-2 years old, and the gun is one to 2 years old as well) I'd say $400-$450.  If the sights are any older I wouldn't pay more than $400.
