OK, one of my coworkers brought a 1911 into work today to see if I knew the value of it. He said it was his grandfathers, who gave it to his father and his father just gave it to him. He said he figured it was worth about $300, but wasn't sure. After I saw it, I told him I'd give him whatever he asked for it, but then decided I'd let him know what he had. So here's the pistol: Colt Mark IV Officer's Model 1911 Series 80   He's just curious, as am I, about what the value of this firearm is, however, he has no intention of selling it. |
