| For H&K USP 45FS. Looking for IWB. Milt Sparks VM2 seems more widely reviewed. Not real concerned with tuckable feature. One plus for SS2 is that Sparks stocks it and the other is 8-12 weeks. It is also probably about $20 cheaper. One of these days I plan on gettiing a commander sized 1911 for carry, but that might be a while. What do you think and why? THanks! |
Try Lightning Arms. They stock a lot of Milt Sparks stuff, and may have what you're looking for, without the 8-12 week wait. You'll pay a little more, but have it sooner. That's what I did. |

Gloftoe, they did not have it in stock, but the guy who runs Lightning Arms is one of the nicest and most helpful dealers I have ever had the opportunity to talk to. Not only did he recommend other dealers he was straight up that he could not get it any faster for me than ordering direct from Sparks. He said that it takes him about 5 months to replenish his supply. He said that while USP full size is not a hot item the last two right hand VM2's he had sold in consecutive days. He checked the rest of his inventory for a fit for my needs, but only had shoulder rigs. If his service is as good as he is honest this has to be a top vendor. Lumpy, I ended up ordering the horsehide Kramer belt scabbard. Thanks for the recommendation. I think I will wait for the VM2. I'm thinking real hard about a commander size 1911 to be my carry gun. I can get away with outside the waist band through a Missouri winter so that gives me about 5 months to talk my wife into it. |

You'll love it man. Im a big fan of horsehide. Its thinner, yet stiffer then cowhide. With the belt scabbard, it WILL stay open without having a reinforcing band that is usually made from spring steel and with enough pressure against it can bend. Kramer is GREAT stuff. |
