The company I work for, the owner just presented me with a new Colt SAA in 45! I've always wanted one of these but could never justify the expense. I have read that the new Colt's aren't as good as the old ones but I found this one does have a removable cylinder bushing and is exact in every respect to the originals. Yes it's a shooter, I read the manual and ignored all the collectable hype. Funny now I'm looking at old western style holster rigs and day-dreaming of olden days.

dang,

im working for the wrong company....do you have any openings for mechanical engineers?

btw, giving a Colt SAA as a gift requires you to give your boss a big hug.  its like that diamon commerical...it says "i love you".... but giving a Colt says "love your work and REALLY appreciate you"

I work in oilfield supplies (plumbing basically). We have been extremely busy and sales have soared. Understandable given the price of oil and gas. I moved out here from Kali back in '90. It's really amazing how easy going folks are for the most part and very little restrictions on firearms. Heck I could never get across the Kali border with what few guns I have aquired and that says alot about the state of that state!
