It's the new invention for 1911 shooters who want to increase their arm strength.

Purely a novelty/range toy.

I will take it if it's given to me but won't go out looking for one.

that'd be neat if someone had a transferable full auto 1911

They are junk.  Jam a lot & are sealed so you can't take them apart to try to fix them.

Would be kinda cool in one of the .45 carbines like the marlin if they worked but seems useless on a pistol.

Didn't John Dillinger have a F/A 1911 with a forward grip and compensator?  Would be fitting for that....

THAT is slick!  I bet in .38 Super that thing is controllable and fun.  What I'd do for that and the BAR....

What would I do?  Put myself in the poorhouse trying to keep it fed, if course.

Its made by ProMag... not known for their reliability or quality. For the $60 they want for one, you could buy a few good 8 rounders!

There was one LMO had for sale, it's the only handgun I could see a use for that, unless you are using a carbine upper on the 1911 (and even then, come on!) or other firearm that takes 1911 mags.
