Team,

I just purchased another Walter P99, replacing one I had earlier (which is now CCW of my cousin/deputy sheriff).

This Walther is in 40S&W, and that leads me to my questions.

With the KB probs of other polymer pistols, I am curious if Walther's suffer as well. My initial looks at the unsupported portions of the barrel don't seem to have a large area, but I thought I would see if anyone had any more info.

Also, does anyone know what kind of rifling does Walther use? Does their rifling preclude the use of lead bullets?

Finally, is there anyone who makes replacement/caliber conversion barrels?

Thanks for the assistance.
