I am brand new to Hi Powers besides one that my ex-gf's Dad had that had Nazi markings on it.
I want two matching Hi Powers - I like the look of one members Kareen's (bi-tone) or would like two matching blued with wood grips. Any advice or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks! |

I'm not quite sure where to begin or what you are asking. BHP's are wonderful pistols indeed. The ones producted under German occupation are far from the finest examples but, are usually functional(sorry your relationship didn't pan out, glad to hear you had a GF). Good luck on fleshing out your collection. BHP's are going for steep prices when new and don't usually last long on the used market at what many consider fair prices. IF you can settle for Kareen's they are a more affordable option and share many good features of the BHP. We look forward to updates on your quest for two matching blued pistols with wood grips. Please post pics when able. Bonus points awarded for dual wielding photos. |

More fun? Get two Inglis ones from Gunbroker and put stocks on them. Legendary! One day I want to buy a pre-war FN Browning that can mount a stock. (Off to buy a lottery ticket.) Might want to check if anyone on Gunbroker is selling a set with consecutive serial numbers. |
