Came across a new 92 FS in stainless, made in Gardone VT for $620.  What do you think?  Comes with all the std stuff.....two stainless 15 rd mags.

Well I can say I have a Stainless 92 and love it but I do not know what "made in Gardone VT" means but $620 sounds about what they go for in stainless around here.

It's made in Italy.  I already have one in stainless, made in the US.  Another blue one, made in Italy in the 92F model.  Didn't know if I needed to get another one.  Seems the Italian models run smoother for some reason.

I cannot imagine one running better than my US made 92FS. YMMV?

Is it new or used?  $600 range is a little high.  Would think a used Inox with plated mags (they are not stainless matt chromed) would be in the $525 range.  Local shop here has one for $575 and has been in inventory for over 3 months.  New Inox 92/96 Vertecs are selling in the $600-$650 range.

Well, It looks like it was part of someone's collection, but never fired.  It has the origianl Beretta tags on the frontstrap.  For all purposes it's new.  I even saw what the original owner paid for it back in the mid 90's.....$605.  The shop clerk saw that too, and quickly removed it.

$620 is high.  I picked up a LE stainless (US made) w/ Trijicon night sights for less than five bills w/ three 15 rounders back in 2003.

I've had six 92s in my lifetime, and for some reason, the Italians seem to be much smoother.  It's probably just me.

I take that back, the .22 conversion is Italian, but not as smooth.
