Intend to get another one of these to run the family trust's .45 can.  Already gave one to my BIL.  Dunno if I'll bother putting wood grips on it again, but will definitely convert it to 1911 mags.

I'm not going to lie or give a shit about the critics, but I'm pretty stoked about the Flux Raider chassis for the Sig P365. I may buy another P365 to build as the host (Flux will offer a 6" barrel):

NEW Flux Defense Raider 365: An IWB Concealable SIG P365 Chassis

This concept just sings to me in so many ways...

My first for the year is a Ruger Blackhawk in .30 carbine; Ruger has only made a couple batches since the Rona and I finally was able to find one at a reasonable price.  Hopefully home soon.

I think the second one will end up being the Springfield Echelon with a threaded barrel.  Something about that design is calling to me.  I hated the XD but this one is very different.  I was hoping they were going to announce it in FDE at Shot so I may try to hold for that…. But the want is very strong.

I’ve had a casual interest in the Fiveseven MRD since they came out but for the price I feel like FN needs to be including a threaded barrel.  I love my old Fiveseven USG and pair of 509s but the MRD just feels like they’re taking their customers for a ride.

The rest of the year is up in the air; I too have largely ignored revolvers for the last 20 years but may be getting my feet wet with them this year more.  A stainless 6” GP100 is likely to be the next one, I already have some parts and accessories set aside for it.  I’m quite interested in the Smith model 350, feel like it is a grown up brother to the .30 carbine Blackhawk.  They’re just expensive!

I need to get another .45 suppressor so I can have one setup for 3-lug and the other dedicated to cam-lok mounts.  Never thought I’d want a second but here we are.

Picked up a Glock 44 yesterday, cleaned and oiled it and will get to shoot it today.
Maybe another 2011?

Will be adding a Canik mete MC9 to my herd of pistols. I wanted a small, light, dependable, and fairly inexpensive pistol for carry.

I swore I wasn't buying any new guns this year.

Yeah......

So far I've bought a Tisas .45 bobtail Carry and a Colt Defender .45 that should be here today.

I really want one of the Smith .32 H&R J frames and a blued Colt Python too.

 FML.

I’ll be picking up a couple of the new blued Pythons when readily available.

I plan on picking up two versions of the SDS 2011s. The Duty model and the MAC 1911-9-DS.

SHOT Show 2024 - Tisas 1911 Duty B9R DS, Tisas Night Stalker SF DS9, MAC 1911-9 DS

My single stack Tisas 1911s have been exceptional out performing 1911s that cost three times as much. My hope is the 2011 style guns live up to that same performance expectations.

Those guys do a 10mm double stack and I'll have to have one.

But for now my P40L 10mm is at the lgs and I get to go pick it up.

I'm probably going to grab a P365 of some flavor this year, only because of the Raider chassis coming out. One of those would make me feel far more capable of getting hits on target.

I know I said earlier in this thread that I wasn't going to purchase any more hand guns, but then Beretta showed up with the 30X.

Picked these three up today... two Gen 4 G17's and a Gen 4 G34. These are like new and I got them from my agency as we recently switched to the G45 MOS platform. As such, we were allowed to buy our issued duty pistol and any left over.

I also have a Gen 5 G17 I'm picking up tomorrow. For $331 each (G34 was a few dollars more), I bought the cream of the crop. The two G17's look barely fired, the Gen 5 was never issued or fired. The G34 was my issued pistol and it does have some holster wear.

Buddy of mine is looking hard at adding a Gen5 G30 to his EDC rotation. He got me interested in doing the same but with a Gen5 10mm G29 …. I’d like to handle one first. Supposedly the LGS has orders in for both these models.

After watching some SHOT show videos on some new releases, I'll probably pick-up a TTI Canik & a S&W 432UC (J frame in .32 H&R).  The FNC looks interesting (technically a handgun), but I don't have much faith in those coming to market.

Just got one myself. It is a really nice pistol and functioned perfectly with many types of ammo I have - 108, 115, 124 and 147 gr.. The trigger is very smooth, right out of the box and comfortable to shoot. It doesn't feel like a micro/sub compact.

Planning on a HK P2000SK LEM in 9mm for a new carry gun once some legal nonsense gets sorted out.

Then building a bolt-action Remington XP-100 style handgun in 5.56 using a 700 as a base.

I've heard that CZ is going to discontinue the P10c so I'm planning to pick one up used if I can find one locally.

Also will likely pick up a 5.7 pistol, have not decided which one yet.  Probably PSA or S&W.

I ordered the TK mount, as well, and Burris FF3 to put on it.  Gonna be used to teach my 5 year old to shoot.  He loves yellow so I went with the gold variant,  lol.

Probably gonna put VQ guts in it at some point but I’m tapped out right now lol.

I’m leaning towards a Security 380. It’s mostly for my wife’s HD, but if I like it, I’d be willing to carry it, knowing that my wife could handle it. She doesn’t like any of my current auto pistols that aren’t 22lr.

See if she likes the CMR & PMR-30s.  30 rounds of 40 grn FMJ  whistling around at 1300 - 1800 fps creates a lot of leaking through holes.

Definitely a lot of whoop-ass in there, but I’m not very trusting of rimfire autos for self defense.

If it's a recoil issue, she may not like the .380 you get her.  Why I put my MIL in a Ruger SR-22 longslide and gave her CCI 40 grn MiniMag and some 42 grn LRN Eley.  She couldn't rack the PMR-30 slide.

Something 10mm, most likely a DW Specialist, but possibly a P220 Legion SAO.

Another revolver-either a King Cobra, MR-73, or an Anaconda. Maybe more than one of those.

A .22-most likely one of the TX-22s with threaded barrel and optic mount. Maybe a 10 shot King Cobra though.

Mostly I need to focus on picking up holsters and lights for the ones I already have, as well as a few cases of ammo.

She doesn’t love recoil, but gets by fine with a 15oz 38 special and lighter loads. I’m seeing this pistol as a step up in sights and capacity with the option for a light and/or the laser she wants.

I may pick up another M&P9 2.0 LEO trade in.  Just because I prefer having the slide direct milled for an optic vs. using plates.  Personal preference.  I'm interested in the new Lipsey J-frame, but I expect they'll be going for a premium.

I really want to focus on buying fewer guns and instead more ammo and training classes.

I like that. I need one at some point…. I have a threaded MKIII 22/45 but it’s heavy. I’d like a really light .22 pistol to carry around the property. Have a 21A covert but it’s not as accurate as I need to shoot critters.
