| I am going to purchase one of these two guns, which one would you recommend. A hk usp tactical or a smith and wesson 627 perfomance center revolver. I already have the following hadguns, kimber tle custom 2 with wilson barrel and bushing, glock 19, s&w 637, and keltec p3at. |
Its a better gun. You already have a G19 so you dont need another plastic autoloader. Besides, the G19 is a better gun than the USP anyway. You can pick up used USPs all day for $450. Can you say the same for a performance center S&W? |
Would you care to share how you came to any of your conclusions? The proper way to state your opinion that the G19 or the 627 are better guns would be to preface said statement with "IN MY OPINION". You have no factual basis for your claims that either the G19 or 675 are better then any other guns on the market. Now to address the OP. It all depends on why you're purchasing this new firearm. Either one will serve you well. |
Definitely apples and oranges comparison. Since it is only between these two handguns the OP is asking to choose from, I personally would chose the S & W because I like how this S & W 627 wheel gun looks, I have fun with my own .357 magnum revolver (686 Plus), and HK pistols don't really appeal to me . Now if we are talking Sig Sauer... .

Well how many VW Beattles do they sell a year ? Not that many huh . Do they have over 60 percent of the police market ? Glock does. In other words , yes based on sales of the gun I'd hgave to say it is a better gun. |

Unless you plan on suppressing it I see no need for a threaded barrel.I've owned a couple HK's and have yet to be blown away by their performance.I'd put a Glock up to a HK any day. The wheelgun sounds like fun. |
World wide? Quite a few. In the lifetime of car making & selling? Probably THE most of all time, even in the US.
Last *I* checked, VW wasn't in the LE gun sales bidness............... 
A) I've owned Glocks in the past.  B) Somehow, other mfgrs have managed to not only survive but actually thrive. Wonder why that is, homes????  C) Let's see what Glock's LE market % is after a few years of the XD's & new H&K's being out there, eh? Not to mention, many departments buy Glocks because they're simple to operate, i.e. their owners don't have to think too much. D) If Glocks are the end-all, be-all, wonder why the US military isn't buying them by the railroad car load???????
