I have a Colt XSE with a long trigger. Got 3 cool guy holes in it.
Great gun, but I hate that damn trigger. Who makes a good short trigger? |

Whole big +1 for not having to tear down the whole pistol to swap the trigger. Wonder why others hadn't done this earlier |

To tag in on this thread; who makes a flat non-serrated, short to medium length trigger in black? SV Infinity firearms makes this. And with their system, you can swap out the insert - if you choose - to get a different trigger, without tearing down the gun. They make four lengths of flat triggers, three lengths of curved triggers, with a standard curve or Enos curve. And you can get them in black, silver, blue, or red. Linky |

For this system to remain interchangeable one cannot red lock tite or silver solder the overtravel screw in place. Completely unacceptable. Quoted:

Linky sure you can. once you get it set up take the whole trigger bow out and loctite it. little bit more trouble than doing it on the gun, but it can be done. i find it easier to just do ithe triiger out of the gun. i have 4 guns with the system installed |

I didn't say it couldn't be loctited or soldered. I said it couldn't be loctited or soldered and have the insert remain interchangeable. Once the interchangeable pad is loctited or silver soldered in place then what is the point to this gimmick trigger? Quoted:

Linky That's too high speed for my taste. A solid flat trigger like the 10-8 but in black and short or medium length would be a winner. |

I wouldn't even trust it in a game gun. YMMV. In that case, you'd be in a distinct minority. It's a good unit and while I'm a fan of buying the right trigger the first time, at least it's an inexpensive way to adjust the shoe to your preference if you buy a used gun with the "wrong" shoe installed. I've got a bunch of them and never had the first issue with them. |

For those who use the chamber customs flat trigger, did yours come with the over travel screw? I just received mine and there is no over travel screw. thanks.
EDIT: Contacted Chamber Customs and they accidentally forgot to put one in my trigger by accident, they have one coming in the mail for me as we speak, all is well. |
