| Looking into buying a Wilson Combat 1911 .45. Does anybody know anything about them? any info is appreciated. |
| IMO, WC is one of the finest 1911's you can buy. They are very expensive though and getting more expensive by the year. However, a used WC can still be had at a reasonable price and you can rest assured that the WC will satisfactorily address any performance issues you may encounter; they're customer service is amongs the best in the business. |

For some wild reason, I don't care for the look of most Wilson's I see. I can't explain it, they are amazing 1911's some of the best money can buy but it seems 90%+ of them there is something I just don't like. I think I am crazy.
If you can afford it and find one you like or want to have them build you one, go for it. I'm a fan of Ed Brown, Les Baer, and Dan Wessons myself but Wilson 1911's are good to go to say the least. |

Good things to know. Really didnt think about SA custom shop, I have 2 SA's in a .40 and a .9mm. I like the quality the feel and the accuracy of them.
My .40 I swear feels like they took a mold of my hand and built the gun around that. Think if I am going to spend that kind of money I am gonna look at the SA and see what they got. Thanks to all of yall for giving your thoughts. Its appreciated!!! |
