| Is it worth the $200 to send my Kimber Super Carry Pro off to WC to have this preformed? Thanks |

Are you having any issues with your Kimber? I have a Super Carry Pro and I did have to replace the recoil spring with a Wolf commander 1911 spring which was a fair amount longer than the factory Kimber recoil spring and now my gun runs like a top. That's what I did too, changed spring to Wolf. I've never had any issues with it at all. So my logic says don't fix it if it ain't broken. But, is 200 bucks a good deal for Wilson's package? Is it worth getting the work done to a SCP, or is it good enough as it came from Kimber? |

If you're having issues, send it back to Kimber under warranty.
It sounds like the only tangible things you are paying for is maybe a mag or two of ammo and a recoil spring. The rest is gunsmith time. Does that price include return shipping? If not, that's more money and shipping the gun out to them overnight, insured is probably going to run $70-90. Not worth it in my book if your gun is running well. |
| I've sent a Colt 38 Super that had trouble feeding to Wilson before. After it came back it was a real smooth feeder and will eat anything and everything. As said, don't send it unless you are actually experiencing issues. What's the point? If you are having some trouble I would recommend it. |
