All I see on Springfield's website is Service models and Sub-compacts in 9mm.  Don't they make a XD9 Compact like they do a XD45 Compact?

Thanks

No, they do not.

The 9mm and .40 come in sub-compact, but not compact.

The 45 comes in compact, but not sub-compact.

If you REALLY want a 9mm "compact," you can buy a Service or Tactical and then have the grip chopped –– either do it yourself of send it to someone.  This is pretty extreme, though, in my opinion.

What mags would you use then for the shortened grip that would fit flush?  I'm not looking for a sub-compact grip length but more so what a Glock 19 grip length has.

Thanks

I believe people get them chopped to the sub-compact length, so they use sub-compact mags.  You can add a Pearce grip extension to make it fit your hand better.

The difference between a grip-chopped pistol and the stock sub-compact is the barrel length.
