| The dots on my XDM sights have a strange problem.The rear sight dot paint is deteriorating from the inside out as if the paint in the center of the dots was cratering.When you look at the dot it looks like a whitish o ring rather than a cup.I have been careful not to get bore cleaner or oil on the sights and the gun is not carried in a holster or on my person.Any one experiencing something like this? |
| my 9 compact did that right away, i was going to put night sites on it so I didn't worry about it,otherwise I would have contacted springfield just on principle. You con touch it up useing some Testers and a toothpick which is what I did after i changed sites,then then threw them in the spare parts collection. |
