| How does this gun stack up against a glock. Also is the recoil that much more than the compact version. I love the 2-tone model I saw at the gun shop today and I am thinking about buying it. |
I have an XD-40 Service and Subcompact, and I actually shoot the sub better than the Service. It's probably a little chunkier than a subcompact Glock, but I've never had both in my hands at the same time. See which you like better, but I don't think you'll regret buying the XD. The Subcompact comes with a 12 round extended mag, which makes the grip the same length as the Service model, and a 9 round standard mag. I like the Pearce grip extension on the short mag so I have a place for my pinky, but I can shoot it just fine without.
