This started to get a little heavy on the hip, minus the tac light of course.

Yep, love my XD-45, bought the service model originally, liked it so much I added a Tactical model, which then went in a fund-raising auction for my niece, so I replaced it with another service model (you know, the whole 1 is none, 2 is one routine). Got a chance to pick up a compact at the last gunshow, so I grabbed that to supplement my original service model.
Great guns. Edit: Just realized you were in CA, that makes it an even better choice for you, what with the 10 round limit and all. You get the most of your mags without having empty space in them, and a nice large hole to go with it. |
