I have something in mind and I need yous guys help.
Crimson Trace makes a compact weapon light for the XD line of pistols. The Lightguard LTG-746 packs 100 lumens in a very small package. The issue at hand, I have an XD-45 Compact which is a 4” barrel and I believe it uses the size slide as the full-size Service model. Just because I like to nit-pick everything, does anyone out there know if the Lightguard will work with my XD-45 Compact. Better yet, does anyone have a picture of this setup. I’d really like to know before I put another purchase on the card, lol. On top of that, DaSantis makes a holster specifically for the XD and the Lightguard. The DaSantis holster says it will fit the following: XD9 4", XD40 4", XD45 4", XDM 4.5, XDM .45. I’m pretty sure there are some subtle difference between various calibers as well as the overall design between the XD and XDm. Can anyone comment on whether or not this particular setup will work: XD-45 Compact + LTG-746 Lightguard + DaSantis Speed Scabbard Holster 002 = GO or NO GO? Thanks |

I really like the DeSantis holster, but there's no room for the light. 
Generic Holster with retention strap and spare mag pouch. Only good for transport. 
This has been my main mode of carry. 5.11 velcro holster inside my Maxpediation Jumbo Versipack. |
