Are the light rails on the XD compact compatible with weaponlights other than the Springfield mini light?

Yes. Other lights will work like the M3 from Streamlight.

Yup, tried it on mine and it fit perfectly. Actually a lot better light too.

Spork, if you are asking about the Subcompact, 3" barreled XD's.... the only thing that fits the shorter rail correctly is the XML light.. .

the 4" and 5" XD's will accept anything that fits on a Glock... (M3 etc)
