Has anyone used the XS Big Dot sights? Just got a new/old G19 with standard sights and thinking about using it for duty. I would like to have nite sights and these don't look like you could miss them. Just wondering.

I am wanting to install a set of the XS Big Dot tritiums on my new G19. I have handled a friends 2nd gen model G19 with them and an ASP red training Glock with them installed. If you are a practioner of the "controlled press" or flash sight picture I don't think that the XS sights can be beat!! For zero to 15yds they are more than adequate. For past 15 yds just use the inner dot of the tritium insert for more precision at greater ranges.
That's my take on them anyways...I can't wait to get them installed. Plan on using the pistol for duty, ccw, and IDPA matches when the league is formed.

Thanks for the input guys. Think I'll look around to see if I can find some on a gun to try. Don't think it will  wear it out before then.

Don't have them on my Glocks but I did put one on my Smith J-frame.  It was a big improvement over the front ramp and milled rear sight on the J-frame.  I've had great results with ranges from 15 yards under; put the dot on the target (just like countymountie's flash sight picture) and bang, center of mass hit everytime.
