Are all Smith and Wesson 38 specials rated for +P ammo? |

Many if not all of the current production guns are. Check the specs on www.smith-wesson.com I wouldn't hesitate to shoot a couple of +Ps out of any Smith. They'd be fine for carry rounds, as well as a couple of practice rounds to see what they feel like. I actually shot a couple of +P+ out of a model 38 airweight once. That kicked like a mule  !
