Lets see some pictures of some oddball handguns/revolvers! I want to buy something different.

Wouldn't that be cool converted into an SBR? |

HK VP70 I just got one of the 9x21mm versions that is extrememly rare since only a handful made into the country. The standard 9mm luger is easier to find but still an uncommon gun. It was the first ever polymer handgun; beating Glock by 12 years. Just a horrendous trigger pull........................ |
|
owned one of those chambered in .380 once upon a time, was told when I traded it in that it was only worth anything if it was the whole 4 caliber kit |

Quoted: S&W 422 and 2214 are fairly odd and very affordable, often being found for well less than $250 http://www.fototime.com/BCD8D40DC9F7743/standard.jpg These guns will also take standard S&W Model 41 rimfire magazines though they will stick out the bottom of the smaller 2214s bottom. Another Oddedy I own is an Astra Model 1921/400 in 9mm Largo. Ammo is still readily avaiulable and you can handload for the gun using .38 Super brass loaded to 9mm Parabellum velocities. These handloads will work in the great majority of the guns that are available on the market and are lots of fun to shoot in this large blowback action pistol! The gun is also suprisingly accurate. http://www.fototime.com/0898E163D04DCCB/standard.jpg Everyone probably knows this oddity as the Heckler and Koch P7 http://www.fototime.com/1B8BE8A138BBF0D/standard.jpg This is one of those pistols most people either love or loathe. My own opinion on mine is lukewarm. I don't love it and I don't hate it, it is just another oddball attempt at creating the perfect handgun and like so many other attempts it failed. How do you figure? It was adopted by many different police and military agencies in numerous countries and had a respectable production life. |

Astra made a hell of a lot of Model 400s, they were popular as a Police and Military handgun for many, many years longer than the P7. Then something better came along and replaced those guns too. That's how I figure. Don't go and get you shorts in a bunch. |
