I decided to go all 9MM glocks and its been along time since Ive CCW a 9MM. My ? is Im looking at getting some Win Ranger T or Bonded or the Fed bonded and wondering what grain you guys that have been CCW 9MM would choose for a G26 and G19. Thanks for the help. TG |

I love G19s and every one that I have ever had (including the current one) like 147 grain jacketed bullets. They shoot to the point of aim and are more accurate than lighter weights.
BTW, your gun-fu is strong! You are very wise when it comes to selecting the perfect semiautomatic handgun......the Glock 19. |

124gr standard pressure I recomend Speer GD or Fed Hydra-Shock stay away from the +p loads as the only thing you really gain is muzzle flash, also the 147gr do not expand as reliably as the 124gr. Dude, some of your info is several years out of date. Federal HydraShok was cutting edge 15 years ago. Check out their website and see just what their 147gr HST's can do. |

147gr for me. I always try to use the heaviest of the "standard" weights for a given caliber. For 9mm the standard weights are 115, 124, and 147. So 147 it is.

In all of my 9mm Glocks I use the Federal 124 gr. Tactical, or sometimes the HSTs. ETA: Is'nt the HST, the Hydra-Shok Two? Yep. |

I sold all of my semi auto pistols off and only kept my GLOCK's, my caliber of choice was 9mm also. The choice was a sensible one and I will enjoy 1 platform with the same caliber ammo and I have holsters that will share my 3 pistols. My choice in ammo has been the Winchester Ranger ammo and the new Winchester PDX-1 124 gr. round that the FBI is using. I also use the Winchester PDX round as home defense rounds in my Colt carbine. The rounds are proven and respectable, plus they were made the FBI's primary round after they successfully passed their battery of tests, in this case, good enough for them is good enough for me. |

I like 127gr Ranger SXT (+P+). I would not choose to get shot with one again. It fucked my elbow up really good. What?!?! Glad to hear you're okay... ![]() Yeah, my buddy accidentally shot me November 28th. I was in the hospital until Dec. 1st. Had surgery Nov. 29th, two steel plates, 17 screws, and a synthetic bone graft were put in my elbow to hold it together. Got my cast off Dec. 17th and could just now touch my face last week (barely, and only with the tip of my thumb). I'm only supposed to get 80% back outta my arm, but I'm going to get closer to 100%. |
