Yes, but in most cases, using the stock barrel, you end up with a load around 1.170 to 1.190 depending of the ogive of the bullet to just sit off the lands (.005). If you wanted to long-load out to 1.225 (lenght of the mag), then you would need to lenghten the throat on the barrrel. Fixed. |
I appreciate your response. This is what Para basically told me as well when I called them this morning. Also, do you mean 1.225 and not 2.225? |
| No, my plan is to load it closer to the OAL of the .45 ACP to achieve more reliable feeding, reduce pressure, and hopefully gain a slight edge in accuracy by getting the bullet as close to the lands as possible. My loads will more than likely be 180gr @ 950 to 1,000 fps. |
