I have two different 1911 clones I want to put lanyard loops on (Taurus and Rock Island tactical).
Any ideas as to whether a surplus msh would fit either or both? (I searched "lanyard" here and didn't find anything....have mercy if this has been covered before!  )

Another option is to buy a new main spring housing from Smith & Alexander. They offer housings with GI type lanyard rings installed.

Auto Ordnance Parts
I used this MSH on a RIA to make it look more 'G.I'. Worked fine. Probably one of the more economical ones you'll find. Here it's the lower one, with a Remington Rand above.
