Pliers and yer teeth.

Actually, there's a hammer-shaped device that holds the bullet with the tip down; you whack it on a brick or something a couple of times and the bullet and powder come out. Everything's contained so the powder doesn't get all over the place.




In using, you unscrew the larger end, insert the bullet into the collet, tighten the larger end and give it a whack.

not to mention they work quite well.


Just don't use them for any kind of volume pulling.

I ended up warping one of the collets beyond use on this puller by doing 100 rounds of .223.

Some, if not most of the hammer pullers can be used with a regular shell holder.

You really shouldn't whack it on a brick.  You can actually shatter them if you hit them on something really hard like concrete (maybe a soft brick would be ok),  

A chunk of 4x4 wood on the end grain is ideal.  The endgrain is much harder than the sides, but still softer than brick.
