ok i want a rail mount light. i dont want the best, most tactical, bright as the sun, water proof up to 3,000 feet, works in space, works in -999C to 999C. what i would like is something kind of like a 20$ mag light, always turns on, weather resistant and cheaper. i really dont need one i just figure if i have a rail and it makes me feel better why not throw one on there. any suggestions?

Not for $20. Best deal is probably buying a used MX3 or TLR-1 for $50-$80. Just get a decent pocket light at Target for $20 which will be LED and travel with you at all times.

Stream Light TLR-1 will be perfect for your needs as a weapon mounted light.

Streamlights TLR-3 is low profile and can be had for about $75 new if you search around. It uses the same C4 LED as the TLR series. I have read good stuff about it. I found a used but like new TLR-2 at the local gun store for $150, so there are deals out there.

If your going to use it on a Glock, I love my old M3. It just "looks" right on the glocks.

I seem to recall seeing a bunch of Glock brand tac lights on Ebay for around 60-ish or so not too long ago.

Just get a TLR-1 and you'll have a very high quality rail light that won't break the bank. No reason for some of the light manufactures to charge $400 for a rail light that a $80-$100 rail light will do equally as well.
