just got my first hand gun its a ppq and i have some cleaning stuff just not sure if it is good for handguns to as i use it on my ar
i have pro shots products copper solvent 4 and break free LP for lubricating and preserving
My question is can i use the copper solvent or should i find another cleaner to do this job.

I have been using CLP and hoppes #9 for 10+ years on my P99's.
I dont think any of the "standard" cleaners are going to do any damage to a modern gun... YMMV

I have read that I should not use anything with ammonia on a Walther gun. But I have a lot of hoppes #9 which have ammonia. Do you leave it on the bore 1 or 2 min only or you can leave it a long time before it cause some damage to the gun?
