I have some +P 45 ACP in the locker.
I picked up a Colt Commander (pre-XSE model) two tone.
No manual - can I use +P in it?
Or call Colt to be safe?

What type of frame and what weight spring?

Combat Commander steel frame
as far as I know the springs are factory
bought the gun used and it didn't come with a manual
it is the pre-XS pre-XSE two tone Commanders
Have run regular ammo through it, but I have a box of +p laying around
Love the gun

A box, no problems.

I've shoot a lot more out of my Combat comander pre 80 series, with nothing more than a 20lb recoil spring.
