I am looking into the idea of a conversion barrel to go from 40 to 357, and was wondering if storm lake or the after market was the way to go or go back with a factory barrel? I have not priced factory yet, but see a storm lake piece is reasonable. Gun will be a glock 22. Not for carry, may rethink that if proves to be as reliable as factory, but I have other guns for that role. Want to dabble in it without buying into another gun in case it isn't for me.

Since the only difference between the 40 and the 357 sig is the barrel, you should be ok.
I used a lonewolf and it seems to be ok.
I haven't fired enough rounds to be comfortable carrying it yet, but have had no malfunctions.
357 sig is expensive, compared to 40.

This.  I have a Lone Wolf for my 23 in 357 sig. Works great.

Glock factory barrel. There the same diameter and use the same mags.
