If a 1911 is converted from .45 to .22 can it be converted back to .45 easily? I am asking because someone is selling Mollina frames that were .45 converted to .22 I am wondering what other than the extractor would have been changed. Anyone know? Thanks, Stolat

As far as I know the .22 conversion kits include the entire slide, barrel and all. I didn't think the conversion required any alterations to the frame....
Correct me if I'm wrong.....

I have a Ceiner conversion for one of my 1911's. They include barrel, slide and mag. There is no modification to your gun other than removing the top part of the gun and installing the 22 conversion.

Same with my Tactical Solutions .22 upper on my Kimber. Just take the top off and slide on the Tactical Solution upper then you're good to go.
