I cant decide   between the two? any pros or cons on each?

Personal taste would be the deciding factor.

The TLE II would have the safety system that is in all Custom II pistols while the Warrior wouldn't.  The Warrior would also have a different finish on it in addition to a lanyard loop.

Can't go wrong with either.

If they had a stainless warrior, I'd be all over it!

I agree. It's about your personal preferrence.

I was back and forth on this very question numerous times.

The deciding factor came down to price. I purchased my TLE/RL II from a guy who had bought it and some very nice accessories (X200 light/ holsters/ xtra mags & mag carriers) and kept it as a safe queen.

The gun was spotless and you would not have known it wasn't NIB.

I paid $1000 for the whole package.

That was hard to argue with.

It could have gone either way for me.

I'm not technically savvy on these guns. I know some stuff but I'm more of a shooter who does some some research. In my time looking, reading and talking to guys who owned one or the other it was a toss up.

Basically I ended up using my wife's philosophy on buying.

It's all about the price and accessories.

Good luck!

I have both and I like the Warrior a little better.

I chose the Warrior because I didn't want a Series II gun.  YMMV

Get the TL/RL II, Its black so you can carry. I have one and it shoots really smooth. The desert warrior is more for military or as a part of someones collection.

???

The finish of the weapon doesnt dictate if it can be carried or not. I also dont see how the Warrior is for "military collectors" either.....

Anyway, I have never had any problems with my TLE/RL II. I would not hesitate to buy another one.

TLE/RL:
Pros: FS checkering; tritium night sights
Cons: Series II safety

Warrior:
Pros: It's a Warrior; Ambi Safety; No series II safety
Cons: Kimpro finish*, no FS checkering.

*I can't directly comment on the Kimpro finish as I don't own a Warrior but I have seen and heard of the Kimpro prematurely wearing.

I'd go with the warrior, though frontstrap checkering would be nice.

I like FS checkering, and I really like stainless for handguns, so I ended up with a TLE/RL. I liked it so much that I got another TLE without the rail.

I like the warriors, but as much of the FPS stuff I've read, I've found it to be a non factor, same with the external extractor on my custom 2.
