I looked at it at NRA. I had been waiting withg anticipation for months and was underwhelmed. It uses standard XD 45 magazines so no ammo count upgrade. Yes, it has the changable grip and the match grade barrel butto me it wasn't that much of an upgrade. I will probably send my XD45 back to SA and have a trigger job and some other tricks added and maybe add a match barrel and save $100 |

Why would anyone expect a round count upgrade? The XD45 was designed as a 45, so more rounds would mean longer magazines.
There is a design change that will allow it to feed a wider variety of ammunition also. Ergonomically, it will be a better fit for many also, but the stock fire control will not compare to a properly upgraded one. |

I'm curious what the "upgrade" is that will allow it to feed a more variety of ammo. My XD45 ate any and all types of ammo in ball or HP, standard pressure or +P. |
