| Ok, so I came across a video of someone showing the differences in play between a standard guide rod and a dpm guide rod. The dpm one only let's the slide go back so far which in turn helps reduce the recoil. So does anyone have one or used one? If so is it actually a noticeable difference in the recoil? Is it just a gimmick? |

I tested out the DPM guide rod yesterday. I can't really tell if it helped or not. It is nicely constructed and of high quality but as far as cost to benefit I think it is a waste.
That being said maybe it helps with + type ammo. Maybe another test but at this time I would say save your money and not buy it. |
