I blew this one up.

My advice is, don't use Accurate Arms #5 powder under 200 grain full metal jackets!

If you are dead-set on the EAA, you may want to wander over to the The 10 Ring on GlockTalk and poke around.

However, have you considered any of the following guns??

- Glock 20
- Dan Wesson Razorback
- Colt Delta Elite
- Kimber Stainless Target II

The slide on mine cracked with less than 500 factory rounds.

Sent it in, they put a better slide an barrel on it under warranty, and now it's the most accurate handgun anywhere I shoot.

Like, not just my own, it will out shoot ANYONE'S pistol I've met yet.

Not bad for a 450$ gun with 2 weeks downtime.

I'd definitely recommend one, just know going in that they DO have slide issues.

But you can get different caliber slide kits, anything from .22 to 45 and run on the same frame.

As someone else mentioned they have had slide issues. I've shot one before and it seemed to be a pretty good gun. In my case I got a glock 20fs over it because I could get it in town without issue. I want one of the sf models but haven't picked it up yet. Also have a smith and wesson 610 and colt delta elite. Down the road I want to add an EAA just because it shot well.

I would rather see a longslide Glock G20 come to fruition.
The accuracy wasn't great, the reliability was acceptable and high capacity magazines were very good quality but hard to fully load without a magazine loader.

I have the 45 with the .22 conversion kit. The only ammo I have found that's reliable, has been 100% so far, is
Federal Auto Match. And man is it accurate combination, out shoots my 2 Ruger Mark IIs.
The 22 ammo brands I have tried;
Thunderbolt
Wildcat
CCI blazer
Federal bulk pack
There might be other brands that might work, but I stop looking after using the auto match.

I once had a Tangfolio 10mm fullsize. Accuracy was below par & I traded it off on a Glock 20SF.

I wish H&K made a USP in 10mm!

I would second that wish, especially if it was made in the Elite version!

I'd rather see a stainless sig p220 in 10 but yea more 10mm would be nice(and no I don't care about that conversion one of the smiths is doing, it is hella expensive).

Well, just buy the LWD G20L slide and have a good KKM or Bar-Sto barrel fitted to it.

I have a custom Bar-Sto 10mm barrel fitted to my Oberland Arms G21 longslide, and accuracy is phenomenal.

Take what you read there with a grain of salt; that place will make you dumber by the minute.

Great guns, better trigger and meatier slide.  I think the problem with mine is that it was the bottom rung, and the slides are thin and heat treated wired.  The match sides are built a LOT better.

Mine works well with most all high velocity ammo.

The ONLY problem is my magazine release chewed up the plastic magazine (larger caliber's are all metal) so no I have to hold it in with my pinky ].

Not too worried about it, if I ever find another magazine I'll push the mag release in first before inserting the mag.

I've even had thunderbolt run fine in it

Eaa is the importer.

i think their guns are great and are little known.   great buys also.

i have 2 of the older large frame guns.  one in 10 and one in 45/22 combo.  they all work great.  i also have the smaller size (as in CZ 75/85) but havent shot it yet.

my 10 has been great with the exception of the OEM mag that came with it.  so issues, but after i swapped out mag, no problems.
