I picked up a used G17 a few weeks ago and finally got to shoot it today.  It was sweet, absolutely love it.  Only wish i cold afford more ammo to feed through it ha ha!

Welcome to the club man.  I just bought another one, G4 17.  Usually after your first one, you get more eventually.

Yep, you're done for.  I too started with a used G17, and ended up with 6 Glocks at one point, after years of calling them ugly plastic junk.  They just work and work well, and are dead simple to maintain.

Congrats.  Be careful though––––G17s are addictive      They're awesome guns out of the box and you can modify them yourself with plentiful cheap parts should you so choose...   My guess is that it won't be your last Glock!  ( I now have 8...)

Although I went the .40 route (G27, 23, 22)...I know you're gonna enjoy your weapon. Never get rid of a fantastic tool like the G17...
