I bought a FNP9 and its DA only, is there any way to make the trigger better, or is this going to be a lost cause and I should let my girlfriend have it.

No experience with him, but Bill Springfield is held in very high regard. If anyone can improve the FNP's trigger, he'd be the guy to do it.

I don't understand what you mean by its DA only. If its a FNP-9 semi auto pistol you should be able to cock the hammer back for single action. What am I missing here?

I have a DAO fnp9 there is no hammer.

I didnt really read it I was happy to find a deal on a FN pistol so I bought it.
