how does the glock 18 differ from a regular semi auto glock? does it shoot a standard 9mm?
im guessing they would require a tax stamp to own, is this correct? |

I don't believe there were any made prior to 1986 so you would be SOL there anyway. It is the same as a Glock 17 just full auto capable. Unless you're SOT, then you would be able to get your hands on one. There are rumors of a few converted Glock 17s, but it's known that there are no 18s in the registry. Class 3 dealer with a demo is a way to get them. |

Correct.
The switch and the associated internals basically govern the behavior of the Connector/Trigger Bar interaction. Yes, OP, it shoots regular 9mm ammo. Yes, there are aftermarket conversions available for Glock 17s and others......................but it's a matter of expense and paperwork. |

But, unless you are a manufacturer, there's no legal way to put one of these conversions into a G17, since it would be "manufactured" after May 1986, therefore, non-transferrable. |

I'll get mine out here in a few days and make some videos if you want. I have been itching to put some more rounds through it. |
