just traded for a glock 22 its black on hte bottom and silver looking on the top. is it possable to get a black top? do they match up pretty good when swaped out? thanks for any info

If by silver on top, you mean the slide is not black, then someone has dinked with it.  All G22s come with a "black" slide.   It has either been polished to the base metal color, or it has been refinished with something, like nickle or whatever.  

What to do about it is up to you.  There are lots of sources for refinishing in bunches of colors, or you can look for another one and just replace it.

If the slide has just been polished you can send it to Glock and they will re-finish it in Black for about $50(I don't remember the exact cost).

no pics yet. waiting to get the gun but the ones i have seen the slide is not black, it was hard to see the colar. do u guys know of a good place to get the colar done maybe in a od green or something? any one have a picture of one with a black frame and a od slide? thanks
