| Just recently purchased my first Glock, a 34. Initially just wanted a 9mm range gun that wasn't finicky on ammo, something that would shoot cheap bulk ammo. Wasn't particularly looking for a Glock, actually planned on a Beretta 92, but after trying the trigger action on both I picked the Glock. I have not regretted that decision. Initially the blocky grip was different and I do understand why some don't like it, but after having only one round in the first clip fail to feed I was very impressed, the other 100 rounds were perfect, and this is the most accurate gun in my collection. Now I'm thinking about adding a .45acp, I've held the slimline .45 but don't like the shorter grip. Glock's website only listes the slide width for their models, does anyone know how much wider the G21 (that's the doublestack .45 right?) grip is over the G34? |

do i know how much wider the 21 is? no, but i don't think throwing a number out there is what you need... after all, it's just a number and this will not give you a sense of "feel."
my recommendation: visit a local fun shop and handle a 21/21SF, then report back. (yes, the 21 is a "double stack" full-size 45 w/ a 13+1 capacity |
