 i know that it is a DAO Gp100. when were they made? how many were made? how do the wolf springs work as far as helping the trigger pull? i am used to finely tuned smiths, so this is a pretty big departure for me. i also have this posted in the revolver section, but am trying to find out the answers thanks Brett |

Greetings. To find out when it was made check out the ruger website. Enter your serial number and it pulls up the date of manufacture. If I recall they were made for the Canadian Mounted Police (Mounties). They wear nice outfits with interesting hats. Wolf spings will probably help. However since it may have been shot quite a bit for their qualification tests it may not need a mainspring. On my Gp100, the biggest problem I have is with the trigger return spring. I think the S&W difinitely has Ruger beat in this area. LittleLamb |
