| ok guy here it is a got a Colt XSE rail gun with a TLR1 light and am looking for a duty holster for this set-up and am having no luck. any suggestions i know some you the LEO and SWAT guys use the Kimber Warrior or the TRP and a Tac light and help would be appreciated. thanks |
| If you are going with a duty holster don't go anything less than safariland. They have an awesome Level III with the hood. I use it with my glock and love it. I'm 99.999 % sure Safariland makes the holster for the 1911. It's alittle pricy but worth every cent!!! I've had my holster since 07 and carried it 6 of 7 days a week and no problems..... I can't comment how it holds up to a 1911 since my dept wont authorize them for carry, but they r ddefinetly proven in my dept with glock, sig, barretta, H&K, and S&W...... |
| I think the Safariland 6280 is going to be your best bet. I would say go with the 6360, but I don't think it is available for that set-up. I don't see the Colt Rail gun specifically listed, but I think it SHOULD fit into a 6280-5621-** holster. That is the part number for a Springfield Operator with a TLR-1. | ok i ordered a Safariland from Copsplus for it about two and a half weeks ago that they said there would be no wait for it cause it was in stock. THAT WAS A BIG FAT LIE!!!! So two weeks later and no holster and they say the estimated ship date is another week away so i told them to just cancel my order and refund my money cause i need a holster now not in another two to three weeks. Just for 43 ( your information) i will not be doing business with them again any time in the near future. |
the rail gun is great very accurate and pretty badass gun all around ive already put some VZ's on it and ordered 5 CMC power mags for Duty carry that work very good. The holster i had on order was a 6280 for the Operator with the TLR1 but i guess they are one of the holsters they dont manufacture till u order it. go figure.

This has been my experience with Safariland. They make hundreds, if not thousands, of different holsters. Anything that is somewhat outside the norm is a special order, and usually takes a couple weeks. Just kinda the way it is.

Why dont you just order direct from Safariland then? Or check their factory webpage at Holsters.com
I used to order their holsters from dealers and it turned out a lot were dumping their old stock on me at the current prices- a rip! Also improper storage results in warped holsters. I had this happen to me with a Glock one that would not fit right. Their former CS manager told me it was because of warpage. I was sent a new one for free. Check the date stamps on the holsters and dont buy anything that isnt current stock. |
go figure.
