Hammer

No seriously

.....

If They are like I remember, there is a plastic (most likely) latch in the back of the slide...you can see the firing pin through it....with the pin forward, push in that latch & lift up while sliding forward. you can then pull the slide off.

then beat it with the hammer.

I just wanted to say that I posted in a lorcin thread.

For disassembly, find someone with a nice hydraulic ironworker and shear that puppy right in half

I will admit to having owned one of these pieces of crap.  I sold it several years ago but I think I remember most of it.

Remove mag and clear weapon
pull trigger to release the firing pin tension
at the back of the slide there is a rounded piece around the firing hole.  push in on that piece then pull back on the slide and lift up then pull the round piece out of the slide.  If I remember correctly this should free the slide so it can be pushed forward off the barrel.

I had one of those too. Jamomatic. That was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. Even my Raven .25 was better.

I still have the L-380 that I bought new in 1990(?). It is my truck pistol. I think I paid $39 for it new. I have not shot it in years, but it always goes bang if you use FMJ ammo. It stays hidden and it would ONLY be used if my CCW(23) fails/goes empty. It's heavy as a brick and can be used to throw at your attacker if it fails to fire.

I would NEVER consider this a CCW piece, but it does make for a handy last ditch effort gun. I also have a L-22 that was purchased at the same time that is a shiny chrome color. I don't think I have ever fired it.

I am trying to work myself up to the point that i am ready, and responsible enough to own a .380. I hope you have your ducks in a row sir, owning a .380 is quite a responsibility.

Get yourself a Kel-tec or something similar. Not a bad back-up to your regular CCW piece.

FMJ= Full Metal Jacket. In pistol ammo it's a rounded bullet with a brass jacket.

It's the most common bullet type for cheap ammo.  Any gunstore or Walmart should carry it .
