| I have a black mark 23 that I’ve owned for about six months. Never fired. I’ve been told that hk will not sell these anymore to the civilian market. Is this true? Should I buy everyone of them that I can? |
better ask Marksman14, he owns a dozen of them. He likes to talk about them. He will be around soon |

No, that is absolutely not true. The Mark 23 is not discontinued to the civilian or any other market. The Mark 23 is a limited production gun that is only made once or twice a year and when those runs sell out, that is it until the next run. This rumor comes up at least twice a year and frankly, I get sick of talking about it and cannot believe people fall for it year after year after year. Talk about crying wolf! And it is always the same old story. Someone has one and tries to gouge the buyer with the story or they cannot get one and tries to get the buyer to get something else since they are out of production FOR NOW. Don't believe me, go over to HK-USA forum and do a search. It is straight from HK-USA's mouth that the Mark 23 is now as it has always been, LIMITED PRODUCTION. Link 1 Link 2 Link 3 |

If you are going to speculate on firearms as an investment I'd recommend the final run of P7's or some NFA stuff. In the past ten years, transferable MAC10's have tripled in price. Personally, I would never buy a gun as an investment. I've only sold a couple of guns since I started collecting about 20 years ago and I regret selling both of them. I'm too stupid sentimental about guns to be able to sell them. |
don't know really. just haven't |
Take it out , It will become one of your favorite guns . |
