Gathered up all the loose 9mm ammo I could find from boxes, under my bed, out of my truck and crap thats been got in the rain for a while. About 200 rounds total, just put all of it downrange with my new G17 without a single hiccup.(hollowpoints - lead SWCs). I haven't been this giddy about a firearm purchase since I got my first bushmaster m4gery when I was 18. edit: well not lead SWCs just lead round noses, not sure what to call them :\

Just another reason that the glock is so loved, they just work.
Now, keep the lead out no lead in a glock, FMJ and Jacketed only.

What he said. If you must shoot lead, invest in an after market barrel for the range. If it is a defensive gun, skip that and just shoot jacket ammo.
