I am looking at getting a scorpion carry for my personal defense and home gun and to just shoot gun also. I have a local kydex holster maker and just wanna check with you guys whom might have one what is your take on this little scorpion? it fits in my hand well I tried a Taurus and had a hard time reaching controls I have fat nubs for fingers. I'm hearing the scorpion doesn't do well with holsters causes the cerakote to chip and come off and then I've also heard that it tends to jam a lot which is a no go?

i hear a lot of the FTF and FTE's i see on youtube yea i know i know... and on the internets is just break in periode or parts needing a little TLC anyone else have problems like this?

and then how about the other problem of holsters i have ability to run kydex but any other options out their for ccw?

Not enough info to answer your question.

Which Scorpion model are you considering? Caliber?

In terms of quality, it's difficult to compare Sig and Taurus. Although Taurus has come along way from what they were ten/fifteen years ago, Sig is a Cadillac.

I've had mine about 8 months and after the first 150 rounds I had no FTF/FTE's I have only had my holster about 2 1/2 months but no holster wear or chipping of any kind. It's kydex as well.
